EZ-Snap™ Covers are designed only for hydronic (hot water) baseboard heating systems.
Electric baseboard heaters are UL-listed as complete heating appliances. Installing any aftermarket cover can affect their operation, void the UL listing, and create a potential fire hazard.
For safety:
- Never install aftermarket covers on electric baseboard heaters.
- Nothing should be placed within 12 inches of an electric baseboard heater unless specifically approved by the heater manufacturer.
If you're unsure whether your heater is electric or hot water, contact the manufacturer before making any modifications.

Your heating system stays completely intact.
Simply remove the old front cover, damper, and end caps while leaving the original wall-mounted back plate and heating element in place.
Usually not.
Some covers that have been installed for 40–60 years may have layers of paint or caulk holding them to the wall.
We recommend scoring any paint or caulk with a utility knife before removing the old cover.
Always wear gloves and safety glasses since older steel covers may have sharp edges.
Usually very little.
Most covers come off cleanly. However, years of paint, caulk, or corrosion may require a little extra effort.
Installation takes just minutes.
- Remove the old front cover, damper, and end caps.
- Leave the original wall plate and heating element in place.

EZ-Snap™ Covers are manufactured from galvanized steel and protected by a baked-on epoxy powder coating.
We proudly stand behind every cover with our Lifetime Rust Warranty, giving you confidence that your new covers will remain beautiful and rust-free for years to come.
In most homes, the heating element is still working perfectly—it's the cover that's rusted, dented, or outdated. Replacing only the cover is a fast, affordable way to give your baseboard heaters a like-new appearance without disconnecting your heating system or hiring a plumber.
With EZ-Snap™ Covers, you keep the existing heating element and wall plate in place, then simply snap on a beautiful new steel cover in minutes.
No.
EZ-Snap™ Covers are engineered to maintain proper airflow around your existing heating element, allowing your heating system to perform as intended. Because they're made from heavy-duty galvanized steel, they transfer heat efficiently while providing a durable, attractive finish.
Steel simply performs better.
Unlike plastic, galvanized steel is an excellent conductor of heat. Plastic acts as an insulator, which can slow the transfer of heat into your room and potentially cause your heating system to run longer.
EZ-Snap™ Covers are also:
- Made from heavy-duty 20-gauge (1.01mm) galvanized steel
- Stronger and more durable than plastic
- Resistant to cracking and warping
- Finished with a baked-on epoxy powder coating for lasting beauty
- Proudly made in the USA

EZ-Snap™ Covers install over your existing heating system. Since no plumbing is disconnected and the heating pipes and fin tubes remain in place, most homeowners can complete the installation themselves.
Absolutely!
Most customers install their new covers in just minutes using only basic hand tools—or no tools at all.
If you can use a tape measure and a screwdriver, you can install EZ-Snap™ Covers.
And if you have any questions along the way, our support team is only a phone call, text, email, or chat away.
We won't let you fail.

That's very common—especially in older homes.

EZ-Snap™ Covers work well whether your flooring is original or newly installed.
